I loved not only the nicotine, but the habit. I loved the throat hits and the feeling of smoke going in and out of my body. Everything about smoking was awesome. I felt that it was actually my best friend. When people in my past treated me terrible, I could turn to cigarettes for help. It worked for the most part.
